The company is involved in the manufacture of cement. Aside from cement production, the company also sells all cement produced by Cementos El Monte, S.A., and by Sociedad de Cementos y Materiales de Construccion de Andalucia, S.A. in the Spanish market. It was incorporated in March 1984 and it conducts business from its registered head office which is strategically located in Cordoba, Spain. The company is also a member of La Agrupación de Fabricantes de Cemento Artificial de Andalucía (AFCA), an association of cement manufacturers in Spain. The company is part of CIMPOR - Cimentos de Portugal SGPS, S.A., the largest Portuguese cement group. CIMPOR is involved in manufacturing and marketing cement, hydraulic lime, concrete and aggregates, precast concrete and dry mortars.
